The bithermic heat exchanger is the main heat exchanger in some combination boilers: it heats the water for both central heating and domestic hot water in a single component, so those boilers do not have a plate heat exchanger. This product family also includes main heat exchangers that heat only the central-heating water, including some condensing models.
As it is specific to each Boilers family, compare the reference, exact variant, and position of the Ports, and check the status of the fins in the unit photos.
Is a Bitermic heat exchanger equivalent to a plate?
They are names of different parts in the catalog. Find the type and reference indicated for your Boiler and check the specific tab. Do not replace one by the other by similarity of name or function.
How do I know if my Boiler carries Bitermic heat exchanger?
See the cutting or documentation of your model: indicate the type of Heat exchanger and its reference. Do not deduct it by the trade name of the Boiler.
