Returns and refunds
Consumer distance shopping · Updated 14 September 2026.
Returning for change of opinion and claiming a defective Part are different procedures. These conditions apply to purchases made since publication and do not modify previous orders.
1. Deadlines and request
You have 14 calendar days of receiving the goods to notify us that you are withdrawing from the purchase, without giving a reason. If the goods in one order are delivered separately, the period starts when the last item is delivered. You then have a further 14 calendar days from notifying us to send the goods back.
Write to info@repuestoscalderas.com or to Uniclima Solutions SL, Calle Grafito 12, Nave 14A, 28850 Torrejón de Ardoz, Madrid, Spain. Identify the order and the articles. You do not need an account, mandatory form or prior authorization to exercise the right.
Optional template: “I hereby give notice that I withdraw from the contract for order [number], received on [date], concerning [item]. Name: [name]. Address: [address]. Date: [date].” Add your signature if you submit the notice on paper.
2. Shipping and refund
Return the items to the address above, with the accessories supplied and adequate protection for transport. Include the order details and keep proof of postage. If you change your mind, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods; there is no fixed handling fee. If the goods cannot normally be returned by post, we will tell you the cost or a reasonable estimate before you buy. We will not charge you a cost that had to be disclosed in advance if it was not disclosed.
We refund the price of the goods and the cost of the least expensive standard delivery offered. We do not refund any extra cost for a special delivery option you chose voluntarily. For partial returns, we refund the returned items and any delivery costs that are legally refundable.
We will make the refund without undue delay and no later than 14 calendar days after you notify us, using the same payment method unless we expressly agree otherwise at no cost to you. Unless we offer to collect the goods, we may withhold the refund until we receive the goods or receive proof that you have sent them back, whichever happens first. A technical inspection does not, by itself, extend this period.
3. Condition of the part and electronic components
Technical inspection and choosing a replacement part
Electronic boards are electronically tested by a technician before dispatch. This work takes time and specialist expertise and forms part of preparing the product. Buying the replacement part does not include diagnosing a fault in your boiler or a loan service so you can test it by substitution.
Check the reference, version and compatibility before buying. If you need to identify the cause of a fault, ask beforehand whether a separate diagnostic service is available. If replacing the board does not solve the problem, that alone does not prove that the replacement part is defective; each case will be assessed on its circumstances. This does not limit any applicable right of withdrawal or statutory warranty.
Return the same unit you received. We may compare available references, serial numbers, markings, accessories and photographs of the item sent and the item returned. If we find differences, we will share the evidence with you so they can be clarified. If it is established that a different unit was returned, the purchased item has not been returned.
You may examine a board or component as needed to understand its nature, characteristics and operation. Repeatedly using it as a diagnostic part, modifying it, soldering it, changing its programming or damaging it may go beyond that inspection. The assessment depends on the circumstances and on any loss of value that is actually substantiated; installing it, connecting it or opening its packaging does not automatically remove the right of withdrawal.
If excessive handling reduces the value of the goods, any amount due will be justified individually, with the reason, supporting evidence and calculation. No fixed percentages, withdrawal penalties or automatic inspection or restocking fees apply. You may comment or make a complaint. You are not liable for that loss in value if you were not given the legally required information about the right of withdrawal. The time spent inspecting a return is not automatically charged to the customer and does not, by itself, justify reducing the refund. Incorrect installation or electrical damage will be attributed to you only where there is sufficient technical evidence, in accordance with the legal rules of proof.
If possible, keep the packaging and identifying marks, and follow the manufacturer’s instructions. The absence of the original box or removal of a seal does not, by itself, cancel the right of withdrawal.
4. Faults, exceptions and business purchases
If the part is incorrect, damaged or does not conform to the contract, report the issue with the order details and symptoms. Photographs or a report may help, but are not generally required. Statutory remedies for lack of conformity are free of charge, including the necessary transport, and are handled under the guarantee, with no automatic penalty. A fault is not attributed to the customer solely because they installed the part; the applicable legal rules of proof are respected.
Custom-made goods
The exception in Article 103(c) of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 applies to goods made to the consumer’s individual specifications or clearly personalised. Before the contract is made, the specific adaptation requested and the exclusion of the right of withdrawal must be identified and recorded in the order. Individual programming or modification may fall within this exception only if it actually meets those requirements.
Routine inspection, repair or testing of a PCB, its refurbished condition, supply to order or selection of a catalogue reference do not, by themselves, make it a customised product. Choosing from standard options is not enough. General acceptance of the purchase form does not turn an ordinary purchase into a custom-made order. This exception does not remove rights relating to defects or breach of contract.
Technical services contracted separately
A diagnosis, repair or configuration will only be treated as a standalone service when expressly requested and contracted, with its scope and price communicated before accepting. The usual review of the Part sold is included in its preparation: it is not later transformed into a non-refundable review fee.
Starting a paid service during the withdrawal period requires an explicit request separate from acceptance of the general purchase terms. If the consumer withdraws before completion, only a proportionate amount for the service actually provided may be charged, provided the prior information and request requirements have been met. The right is lost only after full performance where there was explicit consent to begin and acknowledgement of that consequence, in accordance with articles 98.8, 103.a and 108 of RDL 1/2007. Buying a PCB does not imply that consent.
Purchases for business or professional purposes
When a purchase is made for business or professional purposes, the statutory 14-day consumer right of withdrawal does not apply. Change-of-mind returns are not offered for these purchases unless agreed in writing. Any applicable rights relating to defects, failure to match the contract or breach of contract remain in place.
Consumer status depends on the actual purpose of the purchase, in accordance with Article 3 of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007; it is not ruled out solely because a customer requests an invoice or provides a tax identification number.
