Before you choose
The safety valve opens and discharges water when the circuit pressure exceeds its set pressure. On the heating circuit of wall-hung boilers, this is usually 3 bar; valves on the domestic water circuit have a higher setting, for example 10 bar.
To choose the valve, compare the pressure setting marked on its body, the reference and the connection type (thread or clip). Do not replace it with one that has a different pressure setting. Its outlet is usually routed to a drain.
What data do I review besides the reference?
Contrast the Pressure indicated for the Part and the connections with your appliance documentation. If the tab or label does not allow confirmation, request the information. Do not suppose that two valves of similar appearance have the same specifications.
Where's the Pressure coming from?
It is usually recorded on the Body or the Control knob of the Valve, for example, "3 bar". If it is not read in the tab photos, see before buying.
